G.I. Joe:

Leatherneck (version 3) was released by Hasbro and was released carded as part of the twelfth series (1993). The 1993 Battle Corps figures were numbered 1 through 36 - Leatherneck was number 11.

Leatherneck came with three black rifles, a black handgun, a black knife, an orange missile launcher (spring loaded, actually fired), a black missile, and a black figure stand.

Leatherneck was the hardest gunny that ever slogged through the mud of camp Lejeune. Before that, he was the toughest drill sergeant in Parris Island. Men that have gone through his training say the would rather crawl over broken glass then be on his bad side. He demands countless push-ups for mistakes and enjoys leading 30 mile hikes through hot and humid Parris Island swamps. He insists he is a tough disciplinarian because he wants his soldier to be prepared for the worst, and when you have dealt with Cobra as often as he has, you come to expect the worst.
